How did you two meet? We met through mutual friends during our mutual favorite pastime, Softball.

How did they pop the question? Megan popped the question to Haley with help from family and friends after getting permission from her parents. It was done by meeting for just a dinner and going for a walk at Salem's Cross Inn in West Brookfield, which somewhere special to Megan and her family. There was already a poster with picture and the BIG question set up in the Gazebo there and the rings were ready as well. Haley always joked that she didn't need a fancy ring , Megan could give her a rubber gasket and she would be fine with that and so that is what she got initially and then the real ring came out ! Of course Haley said yessss and was VERY shocked as she wasn't expecting it !!!
What was your favorite moment(s) from the wedding? Our favorite moment from the wedding was the ceremony being over haha...the reception with all of the drinking, music, dancing and just a big ole party happening with our close friends and family! We had the best time with all of them and I don't think there was one person who could say they didn't have a good time there!
How long have you been together? Met in May 2015 and been together since July 2015
How would you describe your overall wedding experience? It was a whirlwind of emotions from beginning to end but all so worth everything we went through to make our day happen. Our BIG day, despite the rain and jumbled mess that it caused before the ceremony, was actually THE BEST DAY EVER! 100% BLAST!
What advice would you offer to other couples planning a wedding? Don't sweat the small stuff, have a plan from day 1 and don't stress out as much as it is easier said then done on the day of if something didn't get to happen or if something isn't on time or exactly the way you thought because in the end your day is perfect and more than everything you could imagine! PS Event Planners from beginning to end are a God Send and so worth having one.
What photography-related advice would you offer to a couple? Love your photographer, be comfortable with them and LISTEN to what they have to say to you and just trust they have your back and best interest at heart! IF you don't feel that then they aren't right for you! Know what you want and communicate it to them so on the same page for smooth sailing the day of.
Tell us about your dress! Where did you find it, how did you choose it, how did you know it was the one? N/A
Did you see each other before the wedding? If not, did you like waiting or would you have rather done it differently? Tell us why or why not! We did do our first look at an undisclosed location that was special to us down the road from where we got married. It was a place we found while exploring on one of our many trips to Vermont and it is what made us decide to actually do a first look instead of waiting. We were so happy we didn't wait, especially since we are not ones for a lot of attention and public affection, it helped us get comfortable for the rest of the day.
Any tips on what to bring? Just be prepared for any weather esp if outdoor wedding and/or reception
What was the first song you danced to as husband and wife? Father-daughter dance? Mother-son dance? The Rest of Our Life by Tim McGraw and Faith Hill was our first dance Butterfly Kisses by Bob Carlisle was Megan and Dad My Little Girl by Tim McGraw was Haley and Dad
What kind of food was served at your reception? BBQ!!
What were you most anxious/nervous/fearful about regarding your wedding day? What was the outcome? Weather!!! Weather happened but we made the most of it and planned on the fly but should always have a plan b no matter what you are wishing for.

Food was fantastic and staff was really nice at White Mountain Chalet Caterers from New Hampshire Had a blast with our entertainment company and they were very helpful through all of the weather issues we had from Phoenix Productions from Andover MA All of our rentals were there when and exactly how we wanted them and all staff were super friendly from Abbot Rental in Littleton NH and Calkins Portable Toilets in Danville VT Our Bouquets were exactly what was wanted and everything we imagined by Artistic Gardens in St. Johnsbury VT Our cake and cupcakes couldn't have been more perfect as we sent a picture to her and we received exactly what we wanted from Baylow Cakes from Newark VT Our Wedding Planner Victoria Warren at Everlasting Affairs put up with a lot from us and handled every single thing we ever asked or needed from her with no question and gave the best advice all of the time. She put in a lot of effort and care when it came to what we wanted and nailed it! Our Hotel which was the Comfort Inn and Suites in St. Johnsbury VT and from the moment we booked til the very last day we were there they were super friendly, met every need of ours and put up with a very rowdy bunch in a very busy season. We were very impressed with their hotel. Lastly...Our Photographer and his assistant well...they were alright HAHA Just Kidding...Ya'll were amazing and very attentive to our needs and wants with our day of pics and such a HUGE wedding party. You hit the ground running the moment you got to the hotel and was so happy you were with us all day capturing our every move! We felt very special and very taken care of as you both were so helpful!
