Erica and Greg's Union Station Wedding

Erica and Greg were married on July 30th, with a ceremony and reception at Union Station in Northampton, MA.

Although both Erica and Greg attended the same small liberal arts college at the same time and knew a few of the same people, they never actually crossed paths until they met online!

Greg has run the Boston Marathon 9 times, and the two of them always go out to dinner to celebrate after the race is over. So, last year, after his 8th marathon, they went to his favorite restaurant, where he pulled out a small box and asked Erica to marry him! He didn’t get down on one knee—that might have been hard to do after running 26.2 miles!—but Erica said it was perfect all the same.

On the day of the wedding, Greg and Erica opted for a first look, and it was clear they were both a little nervous about the day going in. But when they saw each other, some of their nerves settled out, and it was clear they were excited to spend the rest of their lives together.

Then, it was time for the ceremony, which was officiated by a friend of theirs. He had clearly put a lot of thought into what he wanted to say and worked with both of them to be sure to include things that were important to them, which just made the whole ceremony that much more touching.

After that, it was time to party! The DJ kept the majority of the guests out on the dance floor, and Union Station was really rocking all night long!
